Psychotherapy: Mediation: Supervision
“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty” Maya Angelou
There are moments in life in which you both desire and seek change.
Change is not always easy to obtain. Therapy provides an effective way of identifying and achieving the change you require. It allows you the opportunity to reflect, step back and evaluate issues and concerns presently affecting your life.
I am a BACP accredited therapist working in Central London and Caterham Surrey with over 20 years experience of helping people achieve their goals. This experience has shown me that psychotherapy can offer a valuable space to explore and understand ourselves, our relationships, our life choices. Psychotherapy provides a powerful route to creating new understanding and personal growth.
I provide psychotherapy, counselling and mediation to individuals and couples. For counsellors, and other therapists working in the helping professions, I also offer clinical supervision. The theory which underpins my work is Psychodynamic. This stresses the importance of the impact of early experiences on our lives. In addition I have embraced working with different modalities and approaches, for example cognitive behavioural therapy to inform short term/brief therapeutic work; EMDR to address trauma; clinical hypnotherapy to help manage anxiety and promote relaxation; solution focused mediation to work with parties in dispute. For many years I have worked in the Further Education sector, training students to achieve qualified counsellor status.
My office in Caterham Surrey, provides a confidential, quiet, safe and comfortable space to meet with me and to work through any concerns you may be facing.
Psychotherapy and supervision sessions are held in-person, via Zoom or telephone.
